Amani Oshomogho Momodu

Amani has over 20 years work experience, with the last 13 in client programme, winning business, industry strategy planning/implementation, business development, brand, marketing & communication, corporate responsibility & sustainability, press and public relations; eminence/events, digital/new media.

He currently leads business development, industry strategy and client relationship management functions for the Government and Public Services and Financial Services industry. Prior to this period, he led the West Africa Clients & Industries team to coordinate and manage cross functional winning business activities in various industries and different sectors in the West Africa region (Anglophone) covering: Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Amani’s role also includes planning and coordinating social investment programmes and promoting corporate citizenship.  He is very active in the climate change and sustainability space helping to drive programmes of taking responsible actions on mitigation and adaptation – using his voice and making choices that advance a greener and cleaner climate.

  • Amani is a Trustee and Chairman of the United for Kids Foundation (UKF). UKF is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organization that is registered in Nigeria, the United States of America and the United Kingdom with a mission is to heal Nigeria, and indeed the World, One Child, One Heart and One Smile at a Time. The overall aim of UKF is to create a vehicle that enables fortunate Nigerians and friends of Nigeria to apply their resources towards alleviating the unfortunate conditions (poverty, sickness and illiteracy) of the less privileged and disadvantaged children.
  • He is a Trustee of Sakinah Medical Outreach, an organization that provides world-class care treatment and medical assistance for indigent and needy members of the society; with a vision to make quality healthcare services, facility and medical treatment easily accessible to all Nigerians.
  • A Trustee & Director of Administration of the Muslim Public Affairs Centre (MPAC), Nigeria. MPAC is a leading public service, and leadership development organisation that operates on the core Islamic values of justice, mercy, human dignity, freedom, equality for all and sanctity of human life. MPAC is a project based and volunteer-driven organisation, covering Project, Outreach, Advocacy and Lobbying, with the mission to serve humanity and work for an inclusive society.
  • Amani supervised the project management process of the Deloitte mentorship programme for a leading African entrepreneurship foundation, covering 500 entrepreneurs in several African countries. The mentorship programme was performed under Deloitte WorldClass, a global initiative to empower 100 million futures by 2030 with education, skills building and opportunity to enable them find meaningful work in the new economy. He personally mentored two cohorts in Zimbabwe and Malawi who have gone on to scale their SMEs.
  • Amani is an Africa and Nigeria social responsibility award winner at KPMG. A recognition for his personal commitment in driving societal change with the United for Kids Foundation.
